  • May 4th, 2010 - Access Hollywood

Bret Michaels' Type 1 diabetes played no role in the subarachnoid hemorrhage he suffered last month and continues to receive treatment for at Phoenix's Barrow Neurological institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, the rocker's doctor told reporters on Tuesday.

'I don't believe that his diabetes… had anything to do with that,' Dr. Joseph Zabramski told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday. 'So there's nothing you can do to protect yourself.' [Access Hollywood]
